When you talked about Timothy Zahn originally wanting to call the Nohgri species the "Sith" species, you didn't mention the fact that later on, it would be introduced to the Legends continuity that the Sith did, in fact, used to be a species, until they became their own order

Do you think that maybe the Sister/Convore was watching Ezra and chose him to save Ahsoka, and it was only possible to save her because of the intervention of an immensely powerful Force being? I'm interested to find out more about why she keeps following Ahsoka around. I wonder if the convore wasn't seen with Ahsoka in the finale on purpose, showing she isnt around at that point in time

It's a certainty now that Thrawn Alliances happens in that time the Gran Admiral go to Coruscant to talk with the Emperor, right?

Hate to be critical… but this series is literally you just reading off the Trivia section in the episode guide from StarWars.com
It would be interesting if you actually brought more to the table, such as talking about things from interviews Dave Filoni does with Nerdist etc about influences for different choices in the story, listen to podcasts/Q&As where he goes in deep on the details. Things people might not have heard.

Well, I think Lucas always intended for "Lord of the Sith" to mean what it did. It just didn't become public knowledge for a long time, which is where Zahn's confusion came in and hence why his idea was turned down.

Am I the only one that saw Biggs Darklighter? During the battle at the rebel base on Lothol.

Sabine is my Favourite character from the ghost crew and probably the best imo. I will miss this show so much 😭 Just like when SWTCW ended, time to go into depression again… 😭

Nice connection you made to Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The hand shapes Ezra does is also a connection to CE3K with the use of Kodaly hand signs for the "hello" musical theme.

  • Gordon Leung 12 / 03 / 2018 Reply

When Sabine and Ezra are trying to open the temple…the music is very "Raiders of the Lost Ark" esqe. Can you find out if this was also an easter egg? Great Job. Your vids have really made me appreciate this whole series much more.

What’s up with the audio change at 13:03?

  • Brian Larsen 13 / 03 / 2018 Reply

Grand Admiral Thrawn was voiced by Lars Mikkelsen, older brother of Mads Mikkelsen (Galen Erso in Rogue One).

Seckerd? It's pronounced Cliff SEE CHORD! haha. I'm assuming you probably missed Rocketeer with your generation but definitely watch it if you get a chance! Amazing flick! And the episode inspired by it in rebels will be that much more powerful for you!

Possible missed Easter egg: when Rex first appears on screen in one of the last episodes, he’s wearing what looks like that same helmet as Nik Sant wore in Return of the Jedi. Another strong nod to them being the same person.

Pricess monoke? I think you left out a few letters there!

Does anyone know if there is an official Fett clan? I know a number of clans are mentioned in the heroes of mandalore episodes and there is a Fett clan symbol but jango isn't mandalorian according to clone wars

Another reference you missed was the "he controls it, controls the universe the universe" line from A World Between Worlds.. a reference to Dune

  • Tanner Hoyal 14 / 03 / 2018 Reply

Do you think Palpatine tried to find another portal to the World Between Worlds, or just gave up after Ezra beat him?

  • fgdj2000 15 / 03 / 2018 Reply

I don't know if it counts as an Easter egg, but the first shot of the coda, with Sabine standing on Ezra's tower, then looking up with rebel ships descending in the next shot, is basically identical to the opening shot of the pilot, with Ezra looking up and a star destroyer descending upon Lothal.

  • Jeddy027 15 / 03 / 2018 Reply

After the finale, I can't help but wonder what happens to these characters during the events of the sequel trilogy, if they lived to said events.
I imagine Rex would have long passed before TFA & that's all I can really think of.
I read a comment on Jacen's potentially being force sensitive & him joining Luke's new Jedi Order……and we all know that goes. I hope that doesn't happen.

Rook is actually Mace Windu after the fall. See what happens when you fall that far. You're legs become a foot in length and he has to hobble around like a war vet.

I think i found another reference: the scene in which Thrawn shoots at the Defender with his blaster, while Skerris asks him to take cover. There is an identical scene in the movie Patton

  • anavan7 12 / 04 / 2018 Reply

Should've tied in the 'world between worlds' scenes riddled since season 1 episode 9 near the beginning when Kanan was meditating with the Jedi Holocron and the following episode when Kanan and Ezra go to the ancient Jedi Temple where he communes with master Yoda in a similar 'world between worlds scenario'.

I assumed Ruhk staring down Zeb through his macrobinoculars was a reference to Dead Man's Chest.
