Perhaps Luke used the world between the worlds to manifest himself on Crait from Ach To.

That’s good work Alex. Really great, as always.

I Wonder if anyone can reach World between worlds in Coruscant jedi temple.

Also: how did Yoda got his cloak if he lost it at the end of his duel with palpatine in episode lll?

As one who wasn't initially a fan of the world between worlds, the mystery makes me now love it. I just hope it stays mysterious and by god, lucasfilm, please don't add time travel to my stories!

Have we seen in its fullness now?

    Just a side note

Ezra honestly looked cooler with the long hair

  • Alex Denton 03 / 05 / 2018 Reply

I hope that they leave the world between worlds ambiguous. It helps the force seem much more mysterious and powerful.

Maybe Luke didn’t die or become one with the force but he was pulled into the world between worlds by Ezra

I think the appearance of the World between Worlds is dependent on user, and is akin to each users own "mental temple." For example, we know Asoka is stronger in the force than Ezra, but when she is pulled into it she doesn't recognize it. I believe that as a user grows into their powers, they "build" their own temple, with portals representing important locations and events in their past, which is why the wolves don't appear in the portal until Ezra has seen them.

I think what makes the physical portals important is that it is a way to access a users "mental temple" physically, which is why Palpatine wanted it so badly. If he could access his own "mental temple" he could conceivably warn Anakin about the high ground, or Krennic about the flaw in the Death Star. He would literally have the power to alter the past of any event.

The World between worlds is a physical manifestation of the cosmic force.

Always kinda bugged me that the crystal just appeared!! I like the episode in the Clone Wars that showed the younglings going on the quest to get their crystal!!

I see the world between worlds as a spiritual plain. Kind of like what Aang sees in the Avatar state. Or Korra when she visited the Spirit world int eh Avatar series.

It can be mentally accessed through meditation and deep connections to the force. You can see what it shows you which explains force visions in my opinion. However you can physically visit and access it through portals (which are probably man made) but what you see in these portals is shown by the force and probably changes depending on who is present.

So yes it’s like a Force Nexus, like you said it’s just where everything in the universe pools but on a different realm/plain.

Maybe not something new but Alex if you look back at the Mortis arc in TCW you can see near the fathers meditation spot on his walk-way, circles that look VERY MUCH like the portals in the world between worlds (S3E15 8:42). And if you look when Anakin is controling the daughter and the son together you can see Loth Wolve constellations in the sky (S3E15 19:51)

I like to know if lucasfilm will every explore on the early history of the Star Wars canon universe like the jedi and sith war era or something like the old republic years before the phantom menace I like to see Novels, comics, Star Wars story films or animated projects explore that era of Star Wars

  • Nazo the Mysterious Hedgehog 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

Did anyone notice that one of the portals looked like the symbol for the old Star Wars Infinity Universes? Those stories always explored "What If" scenarios.

Which makes me wonder if all the new D-Canon material is just a colossal "What If" and not the True Star Wars we all know from before?

I still don't understand how voices from Ezra's / galaxy's future could be heard there? Yoda said the future is always in motion. So other than the writers wanting to "connect" all the content together, the future voices couldn't have been manifested – unless the future is already set, and Yoda was wrong. If voices from the future are there, shouldn't the voices from ALL possible futures be heard? It was a cool thing to include the future voices, but either Yoda was wrong, or this was impossible.

Yoda was not actually in the world between worlds. He must be able to see into it or at least use the force to appear to others while they are in there. I think he was projecting somehow like Luke did in TLJ.

  • Revilod 2000 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

Maybe the portals are just to get you there physically but when we see Ezra there in season 1 and 2 he is just there in spirit and that’s why he can’t see anything else. The same thing with Yoda. And because they are there together they can see each other’s surroundings. Maybe from Yoda’s point of view he doesn’t see the log he’s sitting but can see Ezra sitting on the floor in the temple. I suppose Yoda can access it because he is in a place strong with the force just as Ezra is.

This isn't something new in my mind, but I wanted to say it anyway. I felt that the world between worlds acted as a conduit for Ezra to connect with that which he desired. This theory first struck me when I saw Ezra's second visit to the temple where he spoke with Yoda. When that connection was made, it looked to me like Yoda was startled or surprised that Ezra had contacted him. In my eyes this means that it was Ezra who started that connection with Yoda and now after TLJ and seeing Snoke connect Rey and Kylo, it makes me wonder if Ezra is more powerful than that of what we have seen so far.

My Snoke theory from day one was that Snoke was Ezra. I no longer believe this, but I find it a major coincidence that Ezra would have this power to connect with other beings similar to the way Snoke manipulates his surroundings.

My question now would be: Do you think that the connection between Rey and Kylo is somewhat similar to the world between worlds? Keeping in mind that their surroundings seemed to fade out and that matter (the rain) seemed to be able to pass through their connection.

With so much focus on the World between worlds, would you be interested in a video series around Mortis from the Clone Wars?

Why are the royal, pretorian and coruscant guards ( shock trooper) red and the senate guard blue

  • Steve Moore 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

If you watch Clone Wars Episode where Anakin talks with the Father in the throne room, you see portals in there too. Seeing that the Father, Daughter, and Son were on the "entrance" for Ezra, they are linked with purpose.

  • sleepofgiants 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

I thought it was implied that Ezra called Yoda

  • Paolo del bene 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

What do you think about a theory that maybe the world between worlds is how Snoke got Rey and Kylo to connect in some way?! Maybe a version of that harnessed in a skill of some sort?

  • wickedcricket616 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

With World Between Worlds and Force Project Ability (TLJ), I keep wondering if Obi Wan has ever been physically present on Tatooine when picking up Luke and heading to Alderaan in Millenium Faclon etc., etc until his final battle with Vader when he (allegedly) died and became one with the Force. Same with Yoda, I think this opens many possibilities…

  • Lord Zeeb 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

I think the world between world's is simply the force and not a place, but what we see is simply how it is visualized to understand it better if that makes sense. Those strong enough in the force will be able to utilize the world between world's without having to "go" there.

  • Mark Wilburn 04 / 05 / 2018 Reply

Somehow I feel like this will tie into the story of Abeloth or at least some new interpretation of her. The more I look at what we see in The Clone Wars, Rebels, the Aftermath novels, and even the sequel trilogy I can't help but feel that the new canon has something to hide, and whatever is hiding might be about to reveal itself.

  • Logan Meeks 05 / 05 / 2018 Reply

Honestly the more that I think about the World between Worlds, the more that I think Luke's astroprojection in TLJ is based off of it. I mean it makes so much sense that he could use a nexus in the force and his deep connection to be able to appear in so many different places.

I wonder if the WBW is how Force ghosts gain their omniscience and are able to speak to people anywhere?

  • Bendu Brian 06 / 05 / 2018 Reply

I wish they kept the look of cgi clone wars Yoda. The cgi rebels Yoda scares kids!!

  • Scythian 06 / 05 / 2018 Reply

I believe that being able to go to the world between worlds without the portals has something to do with the training Yoda got from the Force Priestesses.

  • ForbinsColossus 06 / 05 / 2018 Reply

Might the WBW explain how Yoda was able to communicate with Ezra at all? What if the Yoda that Ezra experiences in the Temple was not, temporally, the Yoda hiding out on Degobagh? What if it was the Yoda that had already become one with the force after RotJ? Since the WBW exists outside of time, the people one encounters there could be from any moment in time.

I'd hope the World Between Worlds stays as ambiguous as possible, as you said. What I'm afraid of is something like what Marvel has done with its comic series over the years. I hope this place wasn't introduced just so we can get dozens of spin-off alternate universe stories where Luke doesn't redeem Anakin or the Rebels lose in Ep IV or Palpatine was stopped by Anakin and Mace Windu. Don't get me wrong, stories like that are intriguing possibilities, but please don't introduce a place like the World Between Worlds just to sell more stories!

Again, this is only a possibility and something that'll most likely not happen. I loved the World Between Worlds so much and think it's something that should remain mysterious.

Could be the "site" on Jakku that Palpatine had Rax guard be another portal to TWBW?
